Flow.

“That which offers no resistance, overcomes the highest substances. That which offers no resistance, can enter where there is no space.”

Have you hear the term Flow State?

The Flow State is defined as a state of perfect focus when you're not even consciously thinking about things or processing moment by moment. A state of 'relaxed high performance'.

We can all get into that zone when we focus on whatever activity we're doing and are able to block out the rest - and it happens thanks to repetition, because repetition is the language of the brain and the way you get better at anything.

The more you practice something, the more you can do it in autopilot - and the less you need to think about it.

So, most of us think that entering the flow state is this magical thing that only the enlightened can achieve, but it is actually easier than it sounds.

Here are some things you can try in order to get in the zone:

Be well rested.

Smart, hard practice.

Ignore distractions. Meditate.

Work on your muscle memory.

Practice, practice and practice until your being knows exactly what to do without even thinking about it.

Pro tip: A little caffeine can improve performance.

When we learn to get in the zone, we move through space-time effortlessly. And that’s where “miracles” start to happen.

Mindfully,

Sam.
