How to focus when our hearts ache.

Sometimes it is very difficult to focus when our hearts ache.

I recently discovered a very effective technique for those moments when the pain does not allow me to be productive, and since today is a day 8 in numerology and 8 is the number of healing, I wanted to share it with you.

It's about sitting down to breathe. Yes, it's that simple.

I am looking for a place where I can be calm and alone for a while. In which there are no mosquitoes or too cold or hot, preferably. I close my eyes and release all the air I have inside and begin my conscious breathing.

I inhale for 4 seconds, I hold for 4 more and I also exhale for 4. As I breathe in, each time I try to lengthen the time, even for one second more. At the same time, as @LorenaCoyle taught me, I visualize that when I inhale, a pink light enters - unconditional love, and when I let go, pain, anguish, sadness, guilt come out ... Any energy that no longer serves me.

After a few minutes, I feel much calmer and ready to go about my day.
