How to re-connect with your inner self.
Sometimes life gets us out of touch with our inner selves. So, here are 10 ways to help you connect with yourself on a deeper level:
Sit in silence and be present with your own thoughts.
Ground yourself by focusing on your breath for a couple of minutes a day.
Check in with yourself regularly as if you were catching up with one of your closest friends.
Let yourself feel whatever you're feeling. Don't try to avoid your feelings. Experience them and release them once you're ready.
Create a morning ritual that includes something especial to help you get through your day.
Journal or try creative or automatic writing. Some important thoughts can resurface when you do this.
Exercise. Move. Flow.
Notice your thoughts without criticizing yourself for them.
Whatever you love to do, do it often.
Greet and smile at yourself in the mirror. This might sound silly, but it actually works. Try it out!!!
